Reboot / Powering Down

Hey guys, pretty random question.

Is there any way to reboot your PS2 via controller? I know I've seen it done on the Xbox, I was curious if ESR has any type of system like this or if any other application does this. Thanks in advance.

SMS can do it, as can uLaunchelf, my remote control for my V9 can do it as can the learning remote I have in my living room.

I believe he is talking about IGR, In Game Reset. ffgreiver has made a program to do just that, but it is in beta stages and has many incompatible games. (Link below)

The most compatible way is to use a $ony remote with a reset button with v9-11 for FAT PS2s with a HDD, or v12-13 with HDcombo, both running HDL.

Thanks for the info. Won't really touch it unless it's fully compatible. Interesting though.
