Question about Backups and .ISOs

I have a game that is too scratched up to play. So I tried to make a backup with DVD Decrypter and a DVD+R at x16. The Disc was too scratched to read. So I downloaded the .iso file. I patched it with ESR Patch and burned it to a DVD+R at x16. ESR recognized the disc and loaded, but froze when it got the game logo. Did I do something wrong or is there something wrong with the .iso?

most likely, what brand of dvd are you using? (that could also be a factor)

because he downloaded the game so that it doesnt work .

and downloading games are not allowed here

Get the game from a friend, or somewhere to re-read your ISO.
Downloading it from the net is still piracy, even if you own the original.
