Playing Japanese Games using FCMB?

Yea i also get a black screen after all the colors flash when trying to play beatmania IIDX 9th (JP), whats up with that! i patched it with the esr patcher before i burnt it and all that but it STILL doesn't work.

if some one could help that would be nice

What kind (And what brand) of disc did you burn your game onto?

You have managed to run other ESR-patched discs before, I presume?

You should use high-quality DVD-R discs (Like Verbatim DataLife Plus with SUPER AZO DVD-R discs), and nothing else (Especially if you have a SCPH-3x0xx PS2).

I'm lucky that the only .jp imports I've gotten work great via OPL and HDD. I still have no clue what's being said, but that's why I'm trying to learn.

I have the following and they've worked via both HDL and OPL:

Tomoyo After: It's a Wonderful Life
Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi (Perplexity of Haruhi)

Soon to test:
Key's Air, Kanon and Clannad (yes, I'm an anime fanboy)
