    So uhm i patched the game Sonic Unleashed and burned at a DVD with 4x speed ~
    Now when i put the DVD in .. it shows the FreeMCboot logo and ESR Logo but then .. just black screen .. what im doing wrong ?

    Run us through more than just "I just patched and burnt at 4x"

    What media did you use? What brand of DVD did you use? What method did you use to get your ISO? What model is your PS2? There are a lot more things beyond "what am I doing wrong?" because we don't know what you did right or wrong. We know nothing based on what you told us beyond you burnt Sonic at 4x.

    Did you bother to check if the game is even compatible with ESR?

    Did you bother to check if the game is even compatible with ESR?
    I use Maxell DVD+R discs .. a friend of me gave me the ISO for it .. I just patched the ISO then i burnt it at a DVD using IMGBurn ..
    I got a SCPH-39004 and yes i read the forums .. it said it was compatible with ESR

    You should read this (ESR Compatibility List), then. Your "friend" is wrong.
