What LopoTRI said is true but you can with some games make a DVD version of a CD game look around if you really want the game to work their is a thread for converting CD games to DVD for PS2 use with ESR
Well either convert or rip a dvd game to iso patch then burn to check :)
Or try it directly without waiting to boot PS2.
So turn PS2 off, put ESR-patched-Disc in, turn PS2 on. The logo of ESR must come up automaticly. You donīt have to run ESR manually first....Quote:

Ok question about using a hdd. I know it has to be an external hard drive, not usb powered. What other criteria is there? Also, I know I need to use usbextreme or usbadvance. What are the differences? Is there one that is better? Finally, what makes a game incompatible with usb hdd? I know not all are supported.
