The method he describes in the first post of this thread is just a variation of the traditional sensor-mod disc swapping. His variation is that he uses an ESR-patched game backup for the initial TOC reading (aided by uLE), instead of using a pressed original game disc, as in the most traditional disc swapping method.
I've never tried this myself, as I never any use disc-swapping methods, but it does make sense.

it's a sound one makes when expressing disgust in one individual such as the O.P. in this thread.

Bad, Bad, Bad, just picture a mother shaking her finger at you when you did something wrong.
And yes, i know you got the PS2, just thought you remember the talk we had about downloaded .ISO's...

Imagine some supervisor looking at a subordinate who just made some bad mistake, and the supervisor slowly shaking his head and repeating a soft derogatory sound with his tongue against the back of his teeth.
That is approximately the meaning of the English expression: "tsk"
In this context I feel sure it was not directed so much at you, as it was directed at the original poster who admitted to downloading ISOs.
Edit:
Some 'mod' collision here...
@DJ:
Note that it was not Joe who downloaded ISOs in this case, but the other guy...

LMAO, yeah dlanor I know it wasn't joe talking about the .ISO's.
XHolyPuffX, bought a V15 off of me a few months ago... I had mentioned to him before not to talk about downloading games...

Interesting conversation you guys got going here, lolz
Anyway yeah, sorry for bringing up banned topics. I only refrain from ripping because of the condition that my disks are in, and I always fear that it won't come out right. This is just the second time I've done it.
I'll probably be ripping a lot more now instead of downloading, since now I feel a lot more comfortable about not having errors and stuff. I only did it because I wanted to be able to trust the ISO that I'm burning, and not end up with coasters.
Once again, thanks for the support and advice.
