King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match

I am planning on getting this JP region game and I was wondering if it is compatible with ESR? I've searched and found no results posted so far. Any help would be appreciated.

ESR is region independent. Though, your tv set might not be. But take into account, that japanese games are also ntsc, just like the us games.

Ah cool, I'm glad that I'll be able to play it once I get my ps2 all set up with the free mcboot and get the game too.

He didn't say the game was ESR compatible, just that it will make it so you can play games from any region.

Whether or not they are compatible with ESR is a separate issue.

The site below says that says it is ESR compatible. (site is in Spanish, use translation tool if needed)

Woops, so he didn't. I shouldn't jump to conclusions like that, but thanks for confirming that it is compatible. I just need to save up for a codebreaker and the game. I hope I won't have to import, but it may be unavoidable.
