does anyone know of a site where i can download a esr disk patcher as freeware or shareware. most sites i've visited want to charge for usage of their download site...so any suggestions on websites would help.

i got the dvd decrypter,
the nero8 with dvd burner,
the swap magic 3.6

but i coulnt manage to get the esr disk patcher yet....every site wants to charge for using their download site to download this supposed freeware program.
any suggestions where i can download a esr disk patcher as freeware/shareware?

also, i need to get a new memory card to contain the fmcb....but does the fmcb once installed already come with a esr? or do i have to download esr application seperately? im quessing no,...am i right?

and if have to download ESR seperate....where do i even get it? and what version?

one last thing...what label or brand name of dvd-r is best recommended for loading the fmcb? i have maxell....but im quessing that label sucks for the old,bulky ps2.

with each day i feel like im getting closer n closer to finally resolving this rumble fish game issue. i can almost taste success.

oh yeah, i tried downloading isobuster2.6, but wasnt successful.

It's funny why don't you look in the ESR subforum ? The search function would have been helpful but anyway here you go ESR - public beta (ESR - public beta)

or ESR patcher Pro (ESRPatcher Pro)

northbear.....your the best! thanks for the hook up. everybody at this site has been super kind towards me and in forgiviving my extreme "noobness version 2.0"

now to study the esr and rebuilding threads so i'll try to rebuild my game at least somewhat successfully the first couple of times i attempt it.

i'll post if its a success....or a total fail.

Noobie Package contain most of important Homebrew like

HDL, uLE,SMS,ESR,etc.

You can also boot the FMCB with a USB Stick via Swap Magic.
Just make a folder on the root of your USB Stick called "SWAPMAGIC" (case sensetive) and place the uLaunch ELF there and rename it to "SWAPMAGIC.ELF". Then put the installation files on the USB Stick and launch uLaunch ELF with Swap Magic. Then load Free Mc Boot Install with uLaunch and INSTALL!

sorry i was gone soooo long. i was just very very busy. thanxs to everyone for all the helpful statements.

okay.
i finally got the blank memory card and the Sony dvd-r blank discs. i just need to download the FMCB and i'll be good to go.
I just need to read and study up the instructional page of the FMCB...and a couple of other things...so i'll be attempting the burning of that japan only rumble fish game and i'll also try making a playable back up of my marvel vs capcom 2{ just cause its so rare n i dont even play it only because i fear it even getting even a little bit scratched and end up with no back up} on monday or tuesday.......
....after my doctor's appointment.

need to make sure i get bright ,refreshed, and early for that necessary doc appt....

so....i'll try n see how it all goes and i'll let you guys know how the back up n the esr,fmcb, dvd decrypter process went.

oh yeah...i almost forgot...i'm gonna use the nero8 instead of imgburn...i hope thats ok.
yeah...i know imgburn is better than nero for burnin ps2 back ups but i just never got around to downloading it.
