How do I install ESR? –
I've already got fmcb on my memory card, but I dont have ESR installed.
How do I install ESR?
I dont have uLaunchELF
if you used the newbie package you should of had ESR with it....
all you need to do is to copy ESR.ELF to your MC using uLE. put the elf on a USb device and use uLE to browse to mass. then copy it to the MC.
then you can run FCMB configurator to add it to the OSDSYS ( startup menu)
136 installs , last on 16-NOV-2013
PS2 50002 PAL Silver
+ Network Adaptor + 500 Gig
Hitachi IDE + FMCB 1.8b
PS2 79002 PAL
Slim Unmodded FMCB 1.8b
black CFW 6.60 B10 PhotoFast 5400 with 2 x 8 Gig micro SDHC
I'm kind of boggling here that you somehow installed FMCB and didn't bother to install at least uLaunchELF along with it. That's a rather vital app. But anyway...
FMCB can load apps from a USB drive. Get a *small* flash drive (I use a 256-megabyte drive myself; smaller than that is preferable, but definitely don't go any bigger), and do the following:
-create a directory called "BOOT" on the drive; make sure it isn't a nested sub-directory
-put the uLaunchELF app into BOOT
-pop the drive into the PS2's USB slot, then turn on the PS2
That way, you can run uLaunchELF even though it isn't installed on the memory card directly. I'd recommend that you also download the newbie installer package, put it on your flash drive along with uLaunchELF, and then use uLaunchELF to run the installer. That will give you a quick and easy memory card install of everything you need.
