That is actually one of the best tutorials on ESR since the app has been deemed stable for a while now.

Have you even tried reading the official ESR forums? I know you made your thread here, but have you actually read anything here?

There is a detailed tutorial on making CD to DVD backups and there is a short tutorial on DVD in the original public beta thread.

Searching is not a crime.

ESR will NOT read CD's because it's tricking your PS2 into thinking it's reading a Video DVD. It has been talked about multiple times in this forum.
