I bought myself a FMCB memory card of Amazon"dot"co"dot"uk. I know it you have volunteers helping and great guides of doing it but i didn't feel like fiddling to much and i needed to buy a memory card anyway to get the FMCB on thought i just as well buy it already installed. The memory card seam to work like a charm when i plug it in everything looks like the video guide on freemcboot"dot"info How to boot a disc with FMCB and ESR (from Youtube"dot"com) however on 1:02 minutes into the video (Free McBoot Configured\Configure E1 launch keys...\SELECT\MC0:\) i don't have all the files that the video have I only have "BEEXEC-SYSTEM\","BOOT\","SYS-CONF\" So instead of going into "APPS/" (which he do in the video) i go into "BOOT/" and find all the files he have on the screen there ("BOOT"dot"ELF", "ESR"dot"ELF","HDLOADER"dot"ELF","SMS"dot"ELF" ) so i select "ESR"dot"ELF" and the boot screen boots up next time i reset the console and press "Select" so the card seams to work.
I want to add that i own and have all the original DVD games and that its those DVD games I'm riping from
So now i back up my games with "DVD Decrypt" but i get this error message.
UDF File System Parsing Failed!
Device: [1:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVD=-RW GH30N A102 (D: ) (ATA)
Reason: Unable to find 'VIDEO_TS' folder
Are you sure you have a DVD-Video Disc in the drive?
Note: For non DVD-Video, Use 'ISO Read' mode.
So ye I change "Mode" to ISO>Read and everything seams to work fine it Read's at rate 11.5x. When that is done i get a ISO file and a MDS file i
ignore the MDS file and use IsoBuster to look in my ISO and look under UDF and all files are a mess as intended then i use ESRDiscPatcher that i got form this forum in "Thread: ESR - public beta" and then patch it and its successfully and then i proceed to use ISO BUSTER again and look under UDF in my ISO and see AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS which the patch is suppose to do(I think). I then burn the game (Only the ISO file i ignore the MDS file)with Image Burn "Write image file to disc" Source ...\Desktop\GTA\SAN_ANDREAS"dot"ISO (the one i patched) set Write speed to 4x, tick Verify and press the burn DVD button.
After its done I then put the game in my PS2 and press Select after a long wait i enter what i think is ESR beta 90 (whit/Gray background with Launch CDVD, Launch APP, Launch OSDSYS, Disable ESR differ after first IOP Reset, Use Synchronous Mode, Spoof Media Type). Now in the Status in here on ALL the games i tried ( Black, Final Fantasy 10, Final Fantasy 10-2 and Grand theft Auto: San Andreas ) the status is always "UNKNOWN MEDIA IN DRIVE" I used almost 10 DVD's now and all the same.
I use Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB 16x (But I only wright in 4x)
And i have a Fat PS2 Model NO. SC PH35003 Pal with Serial B1558510
The Memory card FMCB is installed on is a Blue see thru Sony 8MB memory card
After i press Launch CDVD in ESR beta 90 the screen Black's out. It stays black and black only. I most have done something wrong or my DVD-R is bad even tho its seams to be the best once to use. Or maybe my PS2 laser is bad... I have taken my PS2 apart to clean it out and made sure to clean the laser and everything else in there (Should be added I'm skilled and experienced in doing so and know what I'm doing and the PS2 now works like a charm after that). My PS2 plays all games i throw at it even if the disc is pretty scratched so i doubt its the laser but I'm not 100% sure if the laser can read the disc I'm burning or if I'm doing something completely wrong. I have tried Decrypting and Burning on 2 different, PC 2 Different DVD Writers and decrypt and Image burn on 2 different PC. when I unplugged my Memory card with FMCB from my PS2 and go into Browse in PS2 original settings it say "No data" "Reading Disc" for 1-2 min and then say "Disc read error." which might seam obviously but apparently it should say something different if the disc work. Something to do with DVD Not readable or something of that sort.
If you could help me sort this out i would be very happy. Thank you for reading all the text and taking the time to reply.
then! obviously you're doing something wrong in the burning of the game!

is kind of repetitive but:
- Just to back up the game with DVDDecrypter, imgburn (or program preferred).
- Patching the game with patch ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a.
- And write again, advising you to change (the book type to DVD-ROM) of the driver before writing.
Donīt think too deep....
Just to say, you can put whatever *.ELF where you want. So you can create a folder named e.g. "APPS" or what you want and copy the *.ELF in that folder.....
You can copy *.ELF where ever you want (MC, USB, HDD) or in a different subfolder that you create.....
You just have to configure uLE or make in FMCB an entry, so they know where the *.ELF is....
And if you want to play with burned DVDīs, thatīs your way. Burn, burn....
You can play over USB by using *.isoīs with "OPL" (Open PS2 Loader), but while PS2 has USB 1.1 the FMV of the game sucks....
Or if you have on your fat a networkadapter you can play over SMB (LAN)....
Depends what you want......
Thanks mrcordas. But I'm not modify anything with "IsoBuster" its just for me to see that the ISO have changed with the patch, "IsoBuster" did not modify my ISO at all. And i have skipt using "IsoBuster" a few times cos i was to lazy and knew it would patch. So don't think that have anything to do with it. But it seams im doing somthing wrong indeed but i don't know what.
