Maybe you'll fine someone with already modded or exploited PS2 that lives near you on the forums (here or anywhere else)? Then you could just send your memory card to that person to do it for you... it may be risky if you don't know him/her, though.

Also, getting the PS2 Memor32 memory card will allow one to get FMCB and ESR going (even will get it going on other memory cards). Also, it's a 32mb card and has a USB port on it for easy backup/restore of PS2 save files. It's fairly expensive compared to a Swap Magic disc, but if you are in the market for a memory card, and/or would like to be able to backup saved games, it might be a way to go. You will have to install the free "Memento" firmware to get it to boot ELF files. Just mentioning this for completeness!
