.hack//G.U. Vol.1 Error
.hack//G.U. Vol.1 Error –
02-10-2010,09:37 PM
I just installed ESR and burned a patched iso of .hack//G.U. Vol. 1. Everything worked, ESR 9b booted and the game showed the Bandai/Namco screen and stuff. Then, It went into a loading screen with white and black hexagons and the .hack//gu logo in the bottom right corner. Shortly after, the screen went black and then white. It stays white. Does anyone know about this problem? I looked around google for a while and I haven't found anything about it...

I can confirm that the game is working, although that isn't much help. I JUST got it, and it worked on first try. Maybe you burned it to fast or something. Or maybe it has something to do with region? Like if your console is PAL and the ISO is NTSC-U or something.
I am also having an issue though, but I won't go into it until your prob is solved. Don't wanna hijack your thread.

Ok. Thanks for your help.
I will try to burn it at a lower speed once I get more disks (that was my last one)
I do know that both are NTSC-U (The disk and System) so that shouldn't change anything.
I did read something in the bug reports thread about your issue. I'll check to see if it was solved.

sry to resurrect an old thread, but yeah, i have this issue with Hack GU vol 1 and 2, 3 just refuses to get parts the pink screen after the ESR logo, it worked fine first run, but after that it just started to stutter like a scratched dvd, then just stopped working altogether. anyone managed to find a fix for this? or should i just reburn the patched ISO? i burned at 4x using TDK golds, using ImgBurn. thnks for any help.

Heh i recently had this problem with some odd Dynex DVDs that i was testing with. The DVDs worked for a few months then suddenly caused some weird errors and stopped working. I used a better dvd like Verbatim DVD+Rs and that copy worked without problems. Strange. I guess some DVDs wear better than others.
