can anyone give a link to where i can download the best and most recent patcher for pal please? it would be a great help. and thanks you so much to ffgreiver for this patch, congrats.
Please understand that I did NOT recommend IsoBuster for ripping use, as that is something it can NOT do. IsoBuster is good to have because it can show us the true content of a disc, including differing content of parallel filesystems, such as we have for every ESR-patched disc.

However, I fail to understand your hesitation in getting them already.
They are both 100% freeware, and unlike some other projects claiming this it really is true for these.
What you get is the full capability program, without any features to be unlocked for a fee like some other applications do it (so those can falsely claim to be freeware while really charging money for all good functionality).
But with "ImgBurn" and "DVD Decrypter" you really get all they can give, completely free.
So what are you waiting for...?

The ImgBurn is perfect, thanks, although i think i need a new disc since all it does is keep retrying to get past the bit i think is scratched, it only affects the cutscene though, i may have to purchase a new FF12 game, if i do should i get the US version this time since my ps2 is chipped or get another Pal version, this Pal version works good enough to complete the game.
There is no specific patcher for PAL. There is one patcher for all versions.

The IZJS original disc iso can be combined with the iso of the original disc of several different non-IZJS FF12 versions, including all the PAL variants, by using that one patcher version.

Go to "tools/settings", then click "read" tab. Then on the right side there are "Read error" options. Change software retries to 1 or even zero (you should change it back once you rip the game), the same for hardware retries if active. Then tick "ignore read errors". Now click ok and rerip the game.

It will take a while to complete the operation. But if you will change the retries to 0, it shouldn't take that long.
Keep the image or back it up on a DVD (just in case you'll scratch your original a little bit more).
Well this is what happens on the exact same spot, considering it's reading a different sector i am guessing it is reading it, thank's for the fix griever, just seem's i'll have to wait. Thanks a lot and can't wait to use your awesome patch.

ok, i had everything in the folder just fine ran the patcher and it worked perfectly. i burned the new iso onto a blank disc. but when i load the gfame up using swap magic it just stays on a blank screen. the disc still spins but the game wont load. any ideas what to do? and i used imgburner to burn the disc so it should be fine right?
Hello, I tried to play the game with an emulator and it works perfect.
It's realy better than on my ps2
I want to know, is it possible to use the ps2 saves of my memory card on the emulator?
I can put them on an usb key with armax action replay but I don't know how to integrate them in th memory file of the emulator
I ask myself
first you need 4 things:
1 an action replay cd. I used a datel armax it works perfect
2 a small old usb key. a 128 meg is enough and is compatible with ps2.
3 the memory file of the emulator (pcsx2) "Mcd001.ps2"
it is inside the pcsx2 emulator
4 a memory editor; I find mymc here http://www.csclub.uwaterloo.ca:11068/mymc/index.html
it is very easy to use
then, copy your saves of the memory card on your usb key with the action replay cd
open mymc-gui and choose the Mcd001.ps2
finaly import your saves files from the usb key
and that's all you can play with your ps2 saves on your emulateur
well all my problems are sorted, i am currently playing the game in english and it works 100% perfectly. thanks you so much ffgreiver your work is amazing, also my thanks to dlanor who has helped me to get mine working.
good luck in your futer work and projects ffgreiver.
also a quick question, i am playing it using the pal iso and izjs iso. the load times are quite longer the the normal izjs is this normal for the patch or just pal? and is there a way to fix it? many thanks.
