I'm not sure what you're trying to say here but some items have been changed from the original FFXI. The Diamond Armlet is supposed to make you immune to lightning.

I just spent almost two hours trying to find it (in guides there written that it will be near Barheim Passage exit) -- nevertheless I searched not only there but whole location very thoroughly -- for nothing. On license board Poison has grey color like all spells which aren't bought/found yet.
I'm afraid that even japanese version already can't help me (what if somehow game save is already screwed) >_< And maybe there not only Poison which missed there (however Silence and Blind has been founded succesfully)..
I started a new game using 0.16a patch (to make sure all image patches are right). And I've found the poison yesterday. It was in the estersand, near the barheim passage entry/exit. I just do not remember which one (there are two barheim passage entries/exits in estersand). The poison was there anyway (IIRC near the one closer to rabanastre, but I'm not sure).
could unlock all items weapons armor accessories when access to bahamut.
Ok, I'll try to search another exit. My version is 0.16 and I'm just after escape from Nalbina Prison.

The chest you're looking for is chest 31 in the Eastersands.
I also found one chest missing, which was chest 1 in Cherobi Steppe. But it could be linked to the Claymore chest in Draklor, so that you can only pick up one of them. And I didn't try with 0.16a yet.

Searched another exit -- I haven't found anything.. (
Where have you been in plot when you found poison? After escape from prison like me? Or after Leviathan? maybe it spawns only after certain events? 0__0

I've tried both versions -- 0.16a and japanese -- with the same result. Nothing there. I suppose there are two possible options:
1) my save is screwed >_<
2) chest with Poison spawns later after certain events
Meanwhile I'm reporting new bugs:
-subtitles in many cinematic movies (for example escape from Rabanastre Palace, flying on Strahl) lags comparing to voices
-there are no any descriptions for new gambits or there are incorrect ones (for example Foe: Discreted Attack (what that gambit doing, btw?) -- there is description like "attack foe with bubble status"-- which obvious wrong)
-there are japanese text where attention bar when Vaan shouts "Basch lives!" etc. Tutorial about it missing -- only square button shows insted in empty window.
-somehow descriptions on what to do and where to go below map when push select button -- vanished 0__0 However, at the beginning of game it was there, I certainly remember it (now I'm at Bujerba, before Leviathan)

I have gotten the poison chest in this version and the last, very close to the beginning of the game. I don't recall the first time, but I believe I even got it pre-Penelo joining, and this one I got it after Penelo joins. So I don't believe there is any restriction on when you can get it, and I'm positive it doesn't disappear after a certain point either. Are you 100% positive you are going to the right spot?

This translation isn't 100%, so its not you, but it should be more than enough to get through the game without much trouble.
The descriptions on the map work for me as long as I've noticed, but I don't check them very much.
Anyways, my compliments to the team for their great work.
