Do you use fat32 filesystem by any chance? Such behavior (black screen after launching) could happen if there was some problem writing/reading large file.

Maybe it's the same for you? The patcher itself uses 64bit values for offsets and uses large file enabled functions, but if the driver doesn't support it, nothing can be done.
If that's not it, then you must have done something wrong, though I yet have no clue what.
Either method would do. The 0.16a contains this fix. But you can use the 0.16 package and replace the two files. The choice is up to you.

When I went to get the reward from a hunt the message is rather odd. At the bottom after the items you recieved are listed it says "obtained." to the right of centre. Perhaps you could put "You obtain:" at the top instead?
Here's a save, just go around the corner and talk to Fermon to see what I'm talking about.
I cannot make it appear at the top. The message in japanese version actually says "added to your inventory". I added "obtained" because it was meant to be a placeholder because I didn't know where that text would appear. I noticed where it appears, but then I forgot about it. So there are two options:

I would opt for the first option, as there is such text in the ZJS (it was added for some unknown reasons), but I won't argue if all of you think otherwise.
I recorded two dvd-r 1 and 2 did not work did not work, I thought it was the media bought another dvd-r and severe tests today at home
ffgriever, when fleeing from an enemy the message "Escaping" appears from the Japanese version. I think it should be changed to "Fleeing" to match the US version.
Option 1 works but only if you can move the text over so it's not in such a bad spot. Option 2 means you would have to shrink the text box unless you want that blank space under the items. Bleh.

I'm pretty sure this is the only enemy with that problem though, and since I don't see Rafflesia being a vegtable, I wouldn't mind the change so much.
I found another problem: when the item team Diamond Armlet immune to lightning, earth and some attacks mimic hunt after rescue event bash!
