I have an other issue, when i retablished electricity (3 hours game) the next scene is half-textureless, and when the scene is finished, i'm locked in a crytal... i will try to pass this issue with the original dvd.
Bestiary is in english :/

Hi, first off THANKS for the patch! it makes the game so much more enjoyable 
also I'm wondering if it's possible to release a smaller patch for new updates based on previous version. ie. a small patch to go from v0.15 to 0.16, and 0.16 to 0.17 when the time comes,etc.
because with my old computer when I do the entire patching process it sounds like my hdd will drop dead any minute, it's just not good for my heart

It's not really a patch, it's taking a bunch of text files from the US/PAL version and sending them over to IZJS. Since you can't just copy and paste the files over, you have to decompress them, copy them over and then recompress them (I think that's how it works at least). The only actual patching done are the bug fixes.

On the very first release, bestiaries were taken from the original PAL version and was in french (but with 2 spaces instead of 1)
Then, to correct the 2 spaces bug, ffgriever changes something. The bestiary were in english with bugs, and now without bugs.
It seems that all PAL version (german, french, spanish) remained the original US texts.

Any bug fixes are done using the English translation and they're patched on after taking text files from the regular FFXII. So unless he does the fixes in multiple languages (which will probably happen when most if not all bugs are fixed) they'll all be in English.
Edit: I just realized who the guy in Trial Mode that you named Master Joe could be. He might be the Huntmaster from Hunter's Camp at Phon Coast. I know he's not green but I only thought the guy was green. I knew he wasn't red or brown, and the Huntmaster is a dark blue.

Actually it could be this bangaa you can spot on board of the sky ferry (he even fought the deathgaze before you arrived).
I'm not sure though if he had any real name in US version or had just some sort of "[adjective] Bangaa" style name (certainly not saloon steward, as all of these were women, IIRC).
It was written in katakana (masutaa joo), so it certainly looks like master joe

@ffgriever: That's interesting... do you mean the bartender guy or the guy that says he's going to fight Deathgaze but then chickens out? I think the bartender's name was just... Bartender or something I don't know.
Some other issues I've found:
-The bestiary columns are shifted too far to the right, some longer names cross the middle line/go offscreen.
-When you select License from the main menu but before you select the character at the top it says "Select a character. ([square] for action list.)" but in IZJS it was changed so square lets you view the Zodiac Wheel, allowing you to view all 12 of the license boards.
-Armguard should be changed to Berserker, I believe the name was changed from the original JP release.

if you read a few pages back in the thread, the translation is well above 90% since it uses the text from the US version. What FFGRIEVER is working on now is fixing bugs/issues that still need fixing. you need both the US version of FF12(or pal version depending on what language you want to play it) and the international ff12 zodiac job system version. make an image of each(with your favorite burning program). I believe instructions are on the first page of this thread.
Edit: if you use a different language version, some of the fixes will be in english(since the project is an english translation). Hopefully you own both games(psx-scene does NOT support piracy)

I will not expect to be fixed the bug and want to translate into English.
