If someone were to play FFXII for the first time, would the international version or the regular version be more enjoyable? Great job on this translation, by the way!

IMO, it's quite simple. If you would like original FF12, you would like ZJS even more. If you wouldn't like it, then there is no reason to play the inferior version. In either case IZJS is the better choice (though, playing original FF12 gives an idea how much better ZJS is). ZJS is a tiny bit harder though (but since the original FF12 was waaay too easy, the game will give you much more fun).
Their is the big difference that the original allowed you to have all skills while ZJS is more like original FF titles chose class learn the skills of class only with crossover of course
To be honest I like both
Forgot to mention ZJS has less bugs of course

Is how all good gaming systems came to beThanks for this patch, it really is amazing.
I'm having one problem though, any help with it would be much appreciated. After you finish your first mark from tomaj and get your reward from him, he tells you about a door that being guarded by this guy, he says he'll let you in now... well as soon as I went in the game froze and it happens everytime. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I don't know if this was mentioned before but there seems to be a small problem with license points. When you are first able to get them after talking with Tomaj, you have 6. There is an accessory license you can get that costs 5 license points. When you try to get it, you can't. You have to get 2 to 3 more points. So I'm thinking a couple menu numbers are out of place perhaps?
May I add my two cents here?
In the very first post of this thread ffgriever wrote this:
If I'm not mistaken this hasn't happened yet, has it? The newly translated parts can indeed sound a little rough at times. "Can use Poach to turn enemy into item" comes to mind (How about "Transforms foes into items with Poach"?).
The whole thing reminds me of the Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix English patch. Xeeynamo also seems to have finalized his patch with his own subpar (sorry...) translations of new stuff.
Isn't that a shame? I mean finding a native English speaker to ask them "How does this sound to you?" should be one of the least complicated parts of a PS2 game hack, shouldn't it?
I'm not one myself (a native English speaker), but I'd love to help in any way I can, be it asking around for new translations... Do you have a list of what has been/needs to be translated?
By the way, I am also ETERNALLY grateful for this project! Don't mean to be just nagging here...
Regards!
please excuse my earlier comment because I was wrong. i wasn't in the correct viewing mode :P
Sorry, it's been a while since I played the first one. Carry on.
Btw, this appears in the log when this happens

Broken images, something went wrong during patching or pcsx2 issue. Has not happened to me even once. If you were using any cheats, try to disable them and start the game anew.
