To be completely honest, I used a file that I did not necessarily patch myself. When I went to patch mine, I got a little too impatient. But if those are the most likely culprits, I will play around with it a little more, and see if I can't get it to work. Thank you for answering back so quickly, too.
Edit: Stopped being lazy, got it to work with my US collectors version iso. I have no idea what was wrong with the other one.

So about how much of the game is completed in the 0.22 patch?
First at all I wanna thank you for your hard work, just recently I heard from the FF XII IZJS version (I know, kinda late) and I really love this FF, so today I begin look for info and all, and at first I got discouraged since it seems that it was released only and japanese but keep looking for and found that there was a patch and I ended here, I not so knowledgeable about patching and stuff, and I look in your post for any light but can't seem to find how to patch it or at least I wasn't able to recognize it, so I wanted to ask you if you already write a faq or "how to", if you can reply me the link I'll appreciate it, and just to clarify, I have the USA version (the collector's edition- just for reference because I don't if it makes any difference), to patch the game I need to a copy of the IZJS too or my normal copy and the patching stuff will be enough?
Sorry if there's grammar issues or misspelling, english is not my native language and thanks for your time.
Nothing to it. Everything is in the readme. Just put "ff12us.iso" and "ff12zj.iso" in the same directory as the main executable. Then just double click the patcher and wait until it's done. You can specify the required filenames, if you want to (you can specify only the first one, first two or all of them). The default output file is "ff12engzjs.iso".
Quick question: Are you planing to update it ever again? Or is this the final version?
It's most likely the final version. The only issue left is some missing descriptions of items, but there is just a few of them.
Can we help you with the remaining descriptions? It would be sweet to finish the to do list!

Patched 4 hours ago, just now getting it onto my HDD because the versions of the HDL_server and HDL_Dump included with Lord BoGaMi's GUI don't want to work with this for some reason. (and my laser's apparently bad enough to give me a read error at 99% that froze HDL)
Updated to svr.8.5 and dump.8.6 and it started transferring..
Woo, it works
so unless something weird happens mid-game (that's my luck (and yes I know it's got nothing to do with luck)) I'm golden. Thank you very much ffgriever.

You want fast transfer try this
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/new-...totype-108709/ (New SMAP driver + HDLDump v0.93 prototype)
and to use Lord BoGaMi's GUI with this download dl_dump_helper_gui_2.3 take the hdl_dump_090.exe rename it to hdl_dump.exe and run it like normal
to let you know I usually get as fast as 3.75Mb sec with most recent version of the prototype
Little bit older version I was getting even 4.25 Mb
