And yes this does work with ESR.
ESR and this patch were made by the same person. I would think he would take that into consideration.

on your newest patch i did notice 1 issue. in Bhaujerba, the bar to gain Notoriety after the mines. The words Notoriety and Shout are still in Japanese. I'm just letting you know in case you weren't aware. So far everything else is working great.
I hope you'll fix this but its not a big deal if you don't as it is the only spot i have noticed and it only appears for a few minutes.
By the way is it possible for you to change the X and O functions so it responds like an NTSC-U game where X is activate and O is back. I know that the configuration file for this is in the file SLPM_667.50 . I have no idea how to access this file or what language it was written in otherwise i would do it myself. I know this is where the key map file is saved because i renamed the SLUS_209.63 file from the USA original game and used apache to replace SLPM_667.50. When i booted the game it had x=select and o=back. Granted it did crash after trying to start a new game.
Im just asking if its possible. I would like it if you could do this but i don't need you to.
And thank you so much for the link all your other patches had ......... v020, 021, 022, 019, 018, 107, 106, 015, 014, 013, 012, 011 so with the v01 I couldn't figure it out by using the pattern.

ffgriever, thank you very much! This patch is just GREAT!
Are you still working in it?
I hope I can be of some help. I started playing and though I have little time, I want to help by searching for bugs and like!
Untill now I found some issues:
- In Nalbina, while playing as Reks, the enemies appears at very high frequency, I mean, just finish with Remora, then fight 3 Imperals, retreat a little and the imperials reappear, just killed a lot in few seconds...
- Wrong description on Potion in Battle Command menu (It is correct in Invetory);
- Missing Vaan quotes when examining the insurgents bodies just after Balthier and Fran joins;
And why note use Dragoon instead of Uhlan? Since you used Hunter in place of Shikari...
First of, awesome work you've been doing. Hopefully you will continue.
But now to the matter at hand!
For some reason, if I use an undubbed US version of the game as a source,
the Japanese audio gets replaced by English audio from the International edition.
This is kinda puzzling as I don't know the reason why your patcher would copy
So I did some testing.
It seems that version 13 of your patch actually preserves the Japanese
voice track of the undubbed version, but version 14 and onward does not.
I tested version 14 binaries with the zjs_repack exe from version 13
and it patched successfully and preserved the audio too, so whatever you
changed in the exe in version 14 or 13a is at fault here.
I know that you didn't take to mind supporting the undubbed version
as a source when you started your project, but could you perhaps
figure a workaround for this? I'd rather not play the game with
version 13 patch as there are lots of additions and fixes after that
version and I'd like to keep the Japanese voicework.
I think i'm being an idiot
I think i'm being an idiot –
I've got my PAL version of the FF12 iso and the FF12 izjs iso but when i run it through the patcher it turns into a NTSC file. Do i need to change the title of the ff12 iso because the guide says to call it "ff12us" so surely that is where i am going wrong.
patcher takes english text from english iso and rebuilds zodiac image with it. as zodiac edition is ntsc to start with - that's expected.

I'm getting that error message after the Playstation 2 logo. It just stays on a black screen
