I had 3 other monographs show up in the bazaar before completing the hunt though (the ones from the weapons/armor/magick shop).
hi ffgriever, i have few questions to ask you. first, do i need both ff12.iso and ff12zjs.iso to do the conversion? 2nd, i have pal version of ff12, can it be use for the conversion too? 3rd, i bought the actual game for both ff12 and ff12zjs, could you (or anyone else) please tell me how to converse the files inside the dvd into iso file format, so i would be able to install the patch when its in iso format, and what kind of tools do i need to do so? thank you very much for your help:)
go to the first page and download the patch, in the rar archive have a text with all your answers
i have downloaded the patch and read the text intruction, but it didnt tell me how to convert the dvd into iso file, and it didnt tell me whether the pal version of ff12 can be use during the conversion process. so if anyone knows please tell me, thx
The newest version is really great. I have had no problems with it. Been stable so far, but then, I haven't really had much time to play games lately.
(On a side note, I have tried playing around with FFX-2 international with the hopes of eventually translating it... but I have no idea where to start :D)
I'm pretty sure someone else on the thread was using Spanish PAL version so I think this is ok, though some things might not be translated correctly.
The requirement is not only that you must look at the board a lot of times, 20 and 40 total for both of the grimoires affected (not summed as the first 20 also count towards the second sum which thus requires only 20 more). But it is also a requirement that the board you look at must contain a NEW hunt, where NEW means one that you have not yet accepted.
But when you come to the Sandsea and speak with Tomaj, your acceptance of the first hunt is automatic, and until that hunt is completed no new ones will appear on the board. And that is why looking at the board at that time does not count towards making the grimoires available. That will only work the next time you find a new hunt on the board, and only if you do your 'repeat looking' as required before accepting all new hunts.
Else you'll be back where you started, having a board with no new hunts, and thus not counting towards the grimoires.
Btw: This rule about 'new' hunts is not new to the IZJS version.
It worked the same in the original FFXII version too.
