Exit ESR back to FMCB
Exit ESR back to FMCB –
I have the FMCB noobie package installed. When I start with a ESR patched DVD, it boots automatically to ESR, and it plays the game. All is working well, but I have a few questions:
1) If I am playing a game, how can I exit the game back to the FMCB menu without turning the PS2 off then on again. Is there a way to program a special key press or something like that?
2) I have a Multi-Game DVD - it has 3 games. I can select any of the games to play, but once I am playing one of the games, I cannot exit back to the main menu to select another game. I have to switch the PS2 off then on again; load the Multi Game DVD, and THEN select another of the 3 games to play. Is there a way to exit one game and select another?
FMCB is installed on MC

....should have mentioned that the FMCB is installed on my Memory Card.
You lookning IGR (In Game Reset) but it's implemented only in OPL. You can also launch preview version of IGR by Launch APP option in ESR GUI for launching any app (i.e HDL).
IGR is not implemented in ESR and probably never will be.
Berion , what does Launch APP actually do ?
If IGR will not be implemented into ESR what are the chances if ESR being implemented in OPL ( and use it's IGR and VMC features ) ?
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f164/esr...tml#post433755 (ESR - public beta)
it will launch application in mcx:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF or mcx:/B?-DATA-SYSTEM/BOOT.ELF, where x - memory card slot, either 0 or 1; ? stands for regional code: E, A, I. Application will gain DVDV reading support (just as in "mcard" version of the usual ESR).
As i remember ffgriever do not want his apps integrated (binded) in others homebrews and ESR development it's freeze (there are another versions without debug colors (only one difference between R9b and these) but it's non public). If OPL08 can launch games from CDVD it's possible to use IGR and VMC feathures wiht "ESR disc" in drive - using above method.
