Thank you! This is the day everyone was waiting! heh
I will test it when i can.
You made unmodded ps2 backup botting possible!
People only need a way to install the exploit, some dvds and its all done!

Yes this is quite usefull for those of us on the go. Thank you very much for all of the work you guys have done for us all.
Thanks I can't believe how fast you are at programming this stuff!
This may be off topic, but how do you know if your image has been patched correctly with the mement0 patcher? Are there any visible changes to the .ISO, like video_ts folders or the like? I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly so I can provide accurate feedback.
Thanks!
great big thanks to ffgriever (and all involved in all the new homebrew latey)
one thing i would like to see included in the patcher though that momentos lacks would be an undo option. im sure it wouldnt be much trouble to include the files lba positions along with the game data.
just for instances were the dvdv doesnt work properly and one wanted to do a normal swap of the game but the original is too worn to make a new image of to use.
(i really hate to start asking too much too soon but if i didnt someone else would :P)
You could keep your clean ISO's and just make a copy of them before applying the patch then erace the patched ISO when you are done burning.
FFGreiver, this is fantastic work.
So what is the difference with both ELfs?
I understod this:
The direct dvd elf is for launching the DVDV game in the drive (like putting it directly in the boot directory to launche the patched games) and the mcard elf what is it for? If i am right it is for launching it and it will boot the BOOT folder and make that app capable of reading DVDVs? Is that right?
Then what happens if you put the mcard elf in the BOOT folder? will it get an infinite bucle?
And one last question... FFGRIEVER said this "IMPORTANT NOTE: The ESR application requires my cdvdinit fix to be loaded first, so either use FMCB with default launcher (it will contain my fix) or launch it manually (using RUNME1.1a)."
Why is it working for me if i don't have installed the default FMCB launcher?
I mean... i installed the FMCB 1.4 but i used the light launcher (75kb) and he says that you have to use the default loader (i understand it is the big one that installs if you dont have an own dvdelf, i dont know because that option never worked for me). But it works for me with the light dvdelf. Is it supposed to?
nice work ,Thanks
Just wondering.... being the dummy dvd files needed so small, how hard would be to make a iso emulator inside ESR, then load the 'dvdv' iso from memory card in order to unlock the dvd drive so one can run backups without the memento patch?
