I patched the .iso file with FreeMcBoot Disc Patcher, maybe that's the problem because I patched my previous tested games with Memento 1.1... ?

As ffgriever already tested this game and it worked, I'm assuming he used esrpatch, so I think this is not the cause of your game don't run.

Anyway, I advise you to repatch it (if possible) using memento disc patcher and test again. If it works with memento and doesn't work with esrpatch, please let me know.

Weird! Could you please do a little thing for us? Please make 3 fresh ISOs of this game. Rename them like this:
GAME_MEMENTO.ISO, GAME.ISO and GAME_ESR.ISO

Now use memento patcher and patch ISO GAME_MEMENTO.ISO. Then use esrpatch 0.2 and patch GAME_ESR.ISO.

Finally, on the command prompt (if you are using windows), issue the following commands on those ISO files:

fc /b GAME_MEMENTO.ISO GAME.ISO > MEMENTO.TXT
fc /b GAME_ESR.ISO GAME.ISO > ESR.TXT

Please attach both MEMENTO.TXT and ESR.TXT files on this thread.

I have a PStwo model # scph70012 and the only way I can get ESR to run backups is to install Free OSDatel MCBOOT v1.1, then put runmev1.1 on mc and use uLaunchelf to run runme.elf, then ESR. FMCB 1.4, or 1.4b won't install on my ps2, it hangs at decrypting dvdelf.bin.

I want to fix my MC to boot ESR automatically like I've seen other people do here. Can someone give me some pointers, or help me out? Thanks in advance.

Like i said to other's if you can install 1.5 and is getting really hard try to find a friend with a fat ps2 install from his ps2 to your memory card and take to your slim and it work for me why would not work for others. just make sure you have what you need thats all.

First, u need to format ur MC and install FMCB v1.5

Then if u are sure that u want to use ESR as diret boot, then, name ESR 0.8a to BOOT.ELF. Place this file in the same place as the installer.

Install v1.5, should be OK

ffgriever's win32 GUI release (0.1) is based on esrpatch 0.1. I think he's about to update it to 0.2 core at any time.

I have released an update (0.2) here (ESR - public beta) along with the Java GUI version.
