It is a definite fact that ESR does work for all slim PS2 models without any exception. On the latest SCPH-900xx model with bios v2.30 it is a bit harder to launch homebrews at all, but once you have uLE running (like via SwapMagic and USB) you can use it to launch ESR which then works just as well as when booted by FMCB.

Theoretically it should work with all models that allow DVD-Video playback from burned discs, since that is the trick used to allow the patched game discs to be accessed.
But someone with personal access to older consoles than I have will have to settle that issue.

It is supposed to work on my old v3 (don't remember the s/n, just that it was a v3), though I did not witness it myself. Anyway, it works with my 30004R (v5 if I'm not mistaken).
I have installed last version on everything.
I reduce TOC with EXPERT software and I patched with ESR Disc Patcher
I burn it at VERBATIM 2x speed and the game freezes on a PINK IMAGE
The game is WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2010 [PAL VERSION]
Wich version is your PS2 ?
Do u have FMCB installed ?
How do u boot ESR on the PS2 ?
I have PS2 Slim version SCPH 75004
I have installed FMCB last version, 1.8b I think
I start PS2 , in the FMCB Menu , I push ''ESR'' option and I click on ''Launch CD/DVD''
Thanks for help.
Are you sure that the game in question works with the kind of TOC shrinking you did ?

Yeah, pink screen means that path isn't correctly appropriate in the file system.
On a single layer, keep the full size and only patch with the patcher.
Can ESR have some kind of IGR that exits the game to ESR GUI or ULE ?
It could, but I don't think it would do any good. You have to get your ass up anyway to change the DVD in drive. Not a big deal to reset the console while you're replacing the disc.
