Some things we have to sort out quicly...
There is a situation that forced me to write these few harsh words. I'm cool by now, so it's not a matter of momentum/emotions. Take a note, that it's based not only on recent stuff/cases, but is also established on comprehensive study of the matter, followed in few cases by some simple disassembly work. I've been very cautious about every single sentence written in this post, so of course, I'm aware and I take full responsibility of every word I have written here.
Almost all content of this post is exclusively aimed at hackchip (unless there are other people I don't know about, that actually fit the same attitude).
Now, to the point. You've recently made some new releases... uLE4.16plus! being one of them. You've placed one of my launchers in there, without even asking about permission. True, I didn't write I require one, so there are no formal steps I can take, but there are some unwritten rules, that require someone to get the permission of author if you're going to do anything with his property. At least try... because not always the author is easily reachable, if at all (but in such case at least all the info about author should be left as is). Oh, and it has a name... it's "ESR beta revision 6b", not "PS2Disc DVDV" or whatever. Please, remove it.
The same with "your" new "FreeMcBoot Disc Patcher"... which is memento patcher 0.9e with changed logo and few strings replaced, then compressed with UPX. This is simply ripping someone off, if not to use other words. Saying somewhere deep in discussion thread that you've just "changed the patcher a little" is not really a good place, since it's not the thing most people will see.
Putting your name on other people's work, while all you're responsible for are just a few minor changes is not really the way to go. With every new day of your life, you're doing everything to prove that you're nothing more than a common thief... stop it, please... for your own good if not for ours. I know it's not your intention, but it's how most other people see it (yes, I'm aware that you also have some really inventive and original work on your account, so it's not always like that).
I'm not here to tell what is good and what is wrong, as I'm simply not old enough and have a whole lot of life experience to gain first. I just would like you to know, I do not approve this. I can't say for other authors, so treat it only as my own opinion.
Please note, that although this text may appear really rude, it was not my intention to offend you (oh, maybe a little bit - I couldn't help it, sorry). I just believe there is a problem that requires an immediate solution. The harsh words you've just read are to emphasize my lack of acceptance for this kind of behavior.
Last, but not least. I'm terribly sorry I couldn't write it in French, but unfortunately my French really sucks (just as my Japanese and German does). This is why I've chosen the language, that I'm sure you know quite well and which has let me express my thoughts clear enough. Additionally I believe neither of us has advantage in this, as this isn't mine, neither yours native language.
I know that some people did ask you to include this ESR launcher in FreeMcBoot directly to launch DVDV patched games if DVDV disc is detected. Please, do not do it for now. I don not have any objections as such, but while this app is still under development, that would cause more harm that it's worth. I just want to make it clean, so that at least the bug reports can be consistent (one nomenclature, consistent version numbers and such). This will help me in the development quite a lot - especially, that it seems there is a whole bunch of bugs in it. Once more or less stable state will be achieved, there will be nothing that would stop anyone from incorporating it. Hope it will happen very soon ;).
PS. I've just checked the problematic console with 1.4b, and proper osd130.elf is created (while osdmain.elf has been created earlier). So it seems to be either cured or the bug doesn't occur anymore (some uninitialized buffers or something like that? I didn't put my nose in your sources yet).
