I made a backup of Max Payne SLES_503.25 cos the original was scratched to buggery. I copied all the files into a new folder on the PS2 HDD using ULaunchELF because the dvd had reading problems in my 112D Pioneer burner an refused to build an iso due to errors, I then copied all the files from the PS2 HDD using FTP an rebuilt the dvd using imgburn and patched it with ESR disc patcher GUI v0.24a the problem is it doesn't work with ESR dvdv direct or dvdv direct off versions an produces purplely pink screen or a white screen with earlier versions however if I use the mcard version and load the SLES_503.25 ELF after it's loaded ULaunchELF from mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF it works fine :)

Can it be fix ?
U should rebuild using PS2CDGen or $ony CDVD Gen and keep the same order as the file appear. The LBA is important there.

Edit: Chaos Theory & Pandora Tomorrow don't work either & I don't have the 1st Splinter Cell to test.
How can I ensure IsoBuster is always displaying the correct LBA order of an original disc?

Someone posted about changing these settings too along with how the LBA order of the root is different to folders eg: one uses alphabetical or descending and the other uses ascending, I couldn't re-find the post can the original poster drag it back up as a quoted url please.
EDIT: I just noticed the SYSTEM.CNF is missing from my backup,
Multiple elf games do work just fine. It's not the problem. If it goes to red screen after LoadExecPs2 then it means something were wrong in default loader. If it hanged at red screen then there most likely are some rpc problems... I'll check this. Could you specify exact IDs of the games? Or region at least?

In such case I would recommend making sure your burn quality is good enough.
The certainly do not work on my NTSC v7. I have tested loading them via Swap Magic 3.6 and they work flawlessly, but not with ESR 9a. The games load fine, but as soon as you choose either single or multiplayer is when the colors flash again then freeze on red. I guess it's possible that the other users only booted the game and assumed it worked fine without actually trying to start a game. All other titles work perfectly for me on the same media & burn speed, it's just the Splinter Cell games that are not working.

I can work around the issue buy running esrmemcard.elf & then launching one of the two elfs listed next to each title above from within ule. One launches straight to single player, and the other launches straight to multiplayer.
The problem with the workaround is the inability to access other menus, view opening cinemas, etc.
Thanks for the reply and any future help and/or esr support for the titles. :)
I'll be testing it then. Hope that PAL version gives the same results... because no one near me has NTSC one. Anyway, I'll get it at Monday from my friend.
it has been report that chaos theory is working !!!
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow PAL SLES_521.49 on V9 PAL Verbatim DVD+R 16X burnt @8.
Flashes through the Colours and starts up,Single player selected flashes through colours again and starts then you have to make a save its flashes the colours again and plays,so no problems with the PAL version.
Splinter Cell PAL SLES_514.66 ON PAL V9 console cheap DVD+RW @4X.
Same as above.
Have'nt got the other 2 SC games to test but I would assume they are fine for PAL anyway. .
