i have all the apps like uLaunch, ESR n all dat. i even patch the game ISOs and burnt them.
so i put them on and lauched ESR. some red yellow pink screens appears then it took me to uLanuch. at the top it says "failed to launch LAUNCHELF.CNF". i had 2 options: file browser n config
The game was patched but y didnt it load the game? how can it fix it?
Why? Maybe because you used the MC-Version,... ^^
Read the readme and you know, that this is the normal behavior.
Please don't open new threads again and again.
Maybe we should create a "ESR/FMCB-Noobies-Help-Thread", or something, to avoiding new threads all the time,...
That was brutal on my eyes to even read that. nicholasp91, please spell check before you hit the post button. Normally I ignore posts that are horribly spelled but I've been watching you per say.
TnA hit it on thea head with the point of you needing to use the DVDv directversion of ESR, as it would be the one to boot a disc where the MC version will boot whatever your mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF is.
I have to agree with TnA.
I open this forum and see the same doubts over and over. Any of them in their own thread.
Don't know why, but instead of read everything and then asking, people like to do the inverse: to ask first, to read (really read??) after...
And worse: usually are doubts easily answered just by reading readme or reading some pages of threads back...
Come on people, please read. When I got here I red every post in the thread FreeVast Continues (sort of 80 pages in that time) to be updated. I just posted when I had something useful to say...
Sorry if I ofended anyone... It's an advice not only to be applied here, but every forum out there. Read first.
Same reason why I'm creating that FAQ in this forum's announcement. I'm rather tired of seeing lazy ass people just post on a whim the same questions over and over. Lets go one example. Three years ago, I made one post without searching here. As a matter of fact, it's about getting codebreaker to load HDL direct. (I was a bit ahead of my time on that one.) but a couple users decided to flame me for this. And this was common practice then.
I can respect that since now, (like the old users then,) am tired of seeing the same qestions over and over every time I log on. And I agree. People should read the damn readme files along with tutorials. people don't write those for thier health.
Maybe I'm just getting old and grouchy, but hell, I'm just seeing the newer generation getting lazier and more spoon fed by the day.
I hear ya bro...i write tutorials so noobs wont have to ask, but they need to read them first.
Maybe i should quit wasting my time with the tutorials and just pre-write the answers and just copy/paste them into each post as they ask.....:chinscrat
Or maybe we could make an app to answer them ! :chinscrat
FMCB or ESR Companion
