    Hi,
I'm getting a problem with ESR. I already have played a burned backup iso of .Hack vol.2. I've patched it with ESR patcher and burned it with ImgBurn, everything was perfect, i was able to play this game with no lags, no errors etc. I've been using a Maxell DVD-R for this.
But here's my problem, this time i've burned the backup iso of .Hack vol.2. and it's not working. I've patched it with ESR patcher too and burned it with ImgBurn too, like i did for the previous game. When i put a burned game, ESR normally blink from different color ( green, magenta, blue ) but this time it's stuck on the blue screen. So i tried to re-burn it on a Kodak DVD-R but i got the same error.

I don't know really what's not working, is the backup corrupted by any chance ? Or am i doing something wrong ?
Also, i've burned DBZ budokai tenkaichi 3, the game start but it bugs on the loading screen of the game ( while you game 3 mini games, goku eating - gohan taking swords and vegeta flexing ), it simply freeze or goes black screen

Sorry for the bad english, if i'm not clear feel free to ask more details

ESR is not perfect and even though it works with a lot of games it is not 100% compatible with all games. also the quality of the DVD disc you are using and the speed that you are burning the iso. if the backup worked before and doesnt work now it could be a few things
    1 iso is corrupted
2 the blank is poor quality or bad
3 you are burning the disc at a high speed

try making another backup or try using the same disc you used last time. and keep in mind burning at high speeds has a higher chance of giving the disc errors so try burning at the lowest speed possible i burn at 2x to 4x no higher and that never gave me problems. and make sure you are using the latest ESR patcher

I've been looking for ESR compatible games list, but i've found no information about this game ( vol.1 & vol.2 are supported, so i guess vol.3 should be )
I'll try using the new ESR patcher, i was using one i found on a support site ( and it worked with my previous game )
I dont know about quality, but i think it's correct since it worked once ( vol.2 worked with Maxell DVD-R and i've used this brand for burning vol.3 ), i've also tried with Kodak which is a good brand for media support i guess
I burn at 4x, will there be lags if i burn at 2x ?

no burning at 2x will not give you lags.

ESR is a hit and miss

Try a different burner try a different copy of the game try different dvd blank

there isnt much you can do if it worked once
and make sure the game is the same region as your console
