Ok so I got sick of winding up with a disc that had a game on it that refused to work. I figured what the hell, let's try PCSX2.
Of course the disc wouldn't load, some error comes up and PCSX2 crashes.

What if I load ESR? Nah, I'm crazy thinking this would work, but I try anyway.
I mount my ISO and use a CDVD plugin, or use the ISO plugin and select the ISO(Doesn't really matter) and then load up the ESR elf.

It works! The Multiloader disc boots, shows the menu of games. Now I select a game and it boots! I try it again with another game, doesn't boot. Safe to say it may not work on the real thing too, but doing this with an emulator is no guarantee either way.

You can at least do this to check your menus, make sure your pics are correct, and that your binaries are referenced properly.
If all your games boot on the emulator, they'll most likely work fine on the real thing. But just because they don't work on the emulator, doesn't mean they won't work on real hardware either.
    Maybe helpful in some capacity.

you can burn ESR patched ISO onto DVD+RW disc.
yes, DVD+RW disc (as DVD Video disc) will work only on PS2 with DVD Player version 2.5 or newer. (SCPH-5000x model or newer)
    works for me.
