Does it work with onimusha dawn of dreams?

Try it, or read the compatibility thread, if its not listed there, then probably no one here has it.
Also, please dont open a new thread only to ask about one game, its basically spam
I already read the compatibility thread and it aint in there, and I don't feel like wasting my time and a DVD to make one if it's not gonna work...
if ur trying to become a moderator, I think ur gonna need more than 22 posts.. LOL!Also, please dont open a new thread only to ask about one game, its basically spam
if you are trying to get banned you don't need that many.if ur trying to become a moderator, I think ur gonna need more than 22 posts.. LOL!
You dont want me as a mod, i would simply delete the threads i see as spam. Also i spend a lot of time here already, dont want to spend a lot more and having some kind of responsability.
About this commentary of yours:
I can only say (taken from the ffgriever's post in the release thread of ESR):I already read the compatibility thread and it aint in there, and I don't feel like wasting my time and a DVD to make one if it's not gonna work...
ESR has been tested quite a lot, but some big changes were made recently. So take a note that the software is still in beta stage. Some unknown erros may ocurr. If you're not willing to help make it better, don't download it. If you're having some problems, give as much details as you can: console model and region, game name and region. Game ID and iop replacement image version it uses, steps that will be helpful to reproduce the bug, what colors flashed on screen and how many times (red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow, white).
But you could check a memento compatibility list, if it works with memento, there is a big chance it will work with ESR, if not works with memento, there is still a little chance it will work with ESR
First: they both were right. Second: no need to be rude like that (all three of you). Third: AFAIR your first statement was that you would like to know because you don't want to waste your time burning dvd that won't work - not nice... you could be helpful to the project if you actually tested it and posted the results; even if it wouldn't work, the project is still under development and there would be a high chance to make a fix in nearest future.
But since you're that lazy... Yes, the Onimusha: Down of Dreams works just fine from the very first "r0" revision of ESR up to the "r9" (Checked it personally with DVD1 of PAL multi5 version SLES_820.38 on r9 just now, and earlier with some other versions)... and most likely will work with any future version. I'm also 99.99% sure the NTSC-U as well as NTSC-J version will work fine.

If he was a jerk for not wanting to test, and then for failing to thank ffgriever, that does not in any way lessen your own jerk state in this thread. First you tell the guy off for having opened a new thread, despite the fact that this is not considered spam on this site, if there is no obvious (to that user) thread to use, and despite the fact that you are not a moderator (which I happen to be). And then you go and make your own spam post, making a 'reply' with the only purpose of heaping ill wishes on the guy.
What he did may have been ill-mannered (I agree on that), but not to the point of deserving that reply.
There have been some other cases too of 'overreactive' responses lately, with several people joining to jump on some new guy for various breaches of local 'netiquet'. That is not the best way of turning them into better contributing members for the future, which should be our real goal. And for that we need to have patience with new members and cut them some slack for early offenses. For real breaches of site rules they should of course be told to stop it, but that should best be done by a moderator, and in a way that doesn't necessarily turn the guy into a lifetime enemy, like you just did.
Best regards: dlanor
