    Hi

I took my backup of Killzone patched it with WinDIP for online play and then with ESR. I burned and tried to play.

I got passed DNAS verify as successful. But then I got banned for using a cheat device or cheating or something like that. First got warned then banned for a day and now I'm banned for a week.

I did not use any cheats or cheat devices. I do however have Codebreaker and Gameshark installed on my MC but they were not used. Could they be the problem?

Could it be that they can detect ESR now and ban you? Any one else with these problems? Any one know how to fix it?

    Bump/Help?

I don't want to seem impatient ( I think is the word? ) but I don't get to play again for another few weeks after today. I want to be able to play a bit of Killzone and Cod3 (dont want to try Cod3 until I know I wont get banned) online.

Please help me? This should be a simple problem right?
    EDIT: Your right TehJawknee sorry.

EDIT2: I found that modchips can cause this problem. I got mine off of ebay. How do I know if I have one?

Patience is key, for not everyone has the answer you seek. If you're that impatient, you can use the "Search" option and see if anyone else has had the same problem you have.

Bumping your own thread will only lead to pissing off the mods and getting yourself banned here. You already voiced your concern, just wait. You have WEEKS to find an answer. Wait for an answer or search for one, just don't bump your thread.

You can try the ESR off-version or an earlier revision, but I think Killzone doesn´t work online with ESR.

I'll try off. I didn't know only certain games will work online with ESR. Is there a list of which do and don't?

For example will Burnout 3 or Battlefront 2 work online with ESR?

If one doesn't exist, then you have a great opportunity to give back to the community by providing results for all the games you have tested so far.

This list could conceivably also contain OPS2 Loader online compatible games also, as it does not specifically block DNAS from working like HDL does.
    V3, V7, V9 PS2s FMCB 1.8/W custom FREEMCB.CNF , ULE+ICON GUI, HDL .8b childsafe, ESR, OPL beta, Misc. 3.5, & 2.5" HDDs
    PSP 1000
    PS3 60 GB BC compatible

    That's a great idea!

But whats OPS2 Loader? I looked it up couldn't find anything.

What would be needed on the list. Obviously the game name/works or not/ESR version

What else? I don't think you would need burn speed/program/media as it would make the game not work. It wouldn't effect the online part.

It could also have game code and region. No point in doing console region as they have to be the same anyway.

DNAS code could also be put in. So finding the code would be easier to anyone looking for it.

Any thing else? I'm ona get started.

That is an incorrect abbreviation that some people have unfortunately started to use for a program named "Open PS2 Loader", which is correctly abbreviated to "OPNPS2LD" (as used in the elf filename).

That is an open-source game loader which can run games stored on PS2 IDE HDD, USB drives, or on a networked PC (using SMB protocol). It is already superior to older loaders such as HDLoader and USBAdvance in all ways (except for a very few games, as yet incompatible).

    Best regard: dlanor
