I have installed free mcboot onto my official sony 8mb memory card using the 007AUF method. I am happily working everything out and have managed to load games and do other stuff with opl etc. But I have one problem. Here's the story:
When I purchased my ps2, I backed up all my games to an external hard drive with power iso as a backup for the future. Now that I have fmcb on my memory card and my disks are scratched like hell, I can burn them and play them. One problem though, here's what I did: I got the first iso that I wanted to burn, and patched it with esr disk patcher. I then burnt it onto a blank dvd-r disk, also with power iso. I put the disk into my ps2 and booted up fmcb and then esr. However, when esr loades it comes up with the menu, and in the bottom right it says Media Status:PS2 dvdv game in drive, and when I click load CDVD the screen just goes pink. Does anyone one know the solution? Cause everything else seems to be working beautifully.

Bad burn or bad DVD I would recommend ImgBurn for software and this for DVD

http://psx-scene.com/forums/f164/ver...st-esr-104622/ (Verbatim DVD-R correct and best for ESR)

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be
