A long while back, I got Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix and I ripped the iso and burned onto a dvd. I ESR patched it and it ran perfectly. Now, I found out that there is an english patch out for it, and I said, "hey, why not get it?" So I ripped the iso from my disc, patched it with the english patch, ESR patched it, popped it in and had high hopes. The disc didn't load ESR, so I manually launched it from uLaunch and ESR didn't recognize it a ps2 dvd media disc. Upon further investigation, I found out that when I had patched the english patched iso, the files weren't modified on the disc. I opened the iso with winrar, and the two audio video folders were there. I mounted it with daemon tools and to my surprise, the two folders weren't there, but the original files were present. I said, "okay, its just the english patch." So I get my clean untouched iso file and tried to patch it. I checked on winrar and everything cleared out. When I mounted to daemon tools, the original files were there. Again this is with my original untouched iso. I am using the latest patcher 0.24a and using the latest GUI 09b. Here are screenshots of my predicament.
This is the english patched ESR patched iso opened in winrar: minus(dot)com/mDRSMd51H/1f
This is the same iso with everything above except that its mounted on daemon tools: minus(dot)com/mbltAPqJk/1f
The files on the burned disc look exactly like when mounted on daemon tools. The same goes for the untouched iso. I'm on a fatPS2 and I'm using a Verbatim InkJet Printable DVD-R x16.
So, why can't I patch my original iso now, because I was able to do it before. Also, what can I do to make it work.

Note: I'm not using swap magic because I have been using ESR for all my burned games.

Edit: I am using Xeeynamo's English Patch Rev_5
