but i heard it does not work with latest ps2 slim models!!??
And it wont. It is not problem with esr but with bios of the ps2 slim(scph-9000x)
ESR works just fine with the new consoles. The problem is that the update mechanism has been disabled in the bioses of the newest slim models. This disables the possibility to use FMCB. This gives you no easy way to use ESR (it was designed to work with FMCB - well, not exactly, but who cares anyway). Yet the ESR alone works just fine on the newer models if launched by other means. Pretty useless you say? For the most part, yes. But not always. It could let you play backups using SM without all the sensor covering, etc. But it's not that easy and obvious anymore. It doesn't give you that much as in case of the older ps2 models (that can use FMCB/memento).
NO!! Don't add anymore flashing colors, I can understand that they're used for debugging. But, they burn my eyes.lol
EDIT: My bad, I didn't read your post correctly.

did you read what I said? I suggested to remove the flashing colors and replace them with a loading screen.
that would be greatOnly thing I can see ESR needing is a "Loading" screen to replace the flashing colors.
If that where the case then not only would ESR need this done but OPL would need this feature as well..
Maybe on to somthing there Boot~
Ya Im Bi-Poler and proud of it
Yeah that would be kind of cool to hide the debugging screen, but it would make the program a bit larger, maybe not much, but it could be something to try..
