DVD9 games.......please help

Hi, I've recently burned MGS2 Substance on DVD DL disc. Some people say it won't work with ESR and some say it will work. So could someone please guide me through on how to properly patch the game to make it work with ESR?

DVD9 are supported.
Before patching UDF table use Toxic Dual Layer Patcher.

What i did was I first patched my MGS2 Substance with toxic patcher, then used the ESR patcher. Still didn't work.........I'm using r9b ESR btw.

about DVD9 games ... i wonder if they will work with ESR when split onto 2xDVD5? if yes - should both discs be patched?

I've already wasted 2 DL discs and now a 3rd one! windrider told me what to do, but it still doesn't work!

maybe your ps2 doesn't like your media brand.

No, it's not that. Windrider42 has burned this game on the same brand media I used to!

Then it might be your burner or your ps2 lens

Clean Your len and imperft to oil sliders (i don't know how to name it in english). Use Verbatim and good burner.

First disk yes, second too if You swap it by pressing eject. It's harmless to patched both of them. ;]
