I've burned several games onto DVD+R's and they work flawlessly. Just wondering if DVD+R's can work for any game, seeing as how everyone recommends DVD-R's?

It depends on the system not the game, some of the early PS2 systems would not read DVD+R media very well that is why DVD-R is recommended.
In my v-5 only works DVD-R.
From my experience KHS 400B / KHS 400C lasers have biggest problems reading DVD+R discs ( V1-V7 ) Rest which use HD7 lasers should be fine. I'm talking about fat models, since slim lasers are good enough to handle most of DVD+R discs.
I should probably add that even if you can get DVD+R discs to work on older FAT consoles (Consoles with the KHS-400A/B/C/R lasers), you will be risking damage to the laser (And/or it's control mechanism).I've burned several games onto DVD+R's and they work flawlessly.
