im plannin on buying swap magic. (esr didnt quiet work as i thought)
so my question is Can someone go to these sites

http://www.futureshop.ca

and tell me which CD/DVD I should get to get it working with my backups?

read it. learn it.
It explains that dvd media is in 3 categories:

Best (1st class)
Good (2nd class)
Garbage (3rd class)

Stick with Class' 1 and 2. stay away from 3rd class. This will be the bible on how to choose what media to buy. It also applies to DVD DL media as well. Also, I tend to stick to DVD+R since it's book type can be changed to mimic a DVD-ROM.
