Cheat Divice to ESR Games

K this is actualy kinda Simple . I will put it in steps ..

1. Take Memcard out that Holds your FMCB
2. Turn System on Put Cheat Divice in (iv used CB)
3. Pick your codes
4. Put FMCB Memcard Back in
5. goto Start game Leave Cheat divice in once Screen turns Black Hit Eject to take the Cheat divice out. this in turn should boot your ESR..
6. Put the ESR Patched game in and boom thats it u have codes to :P

This was just something i thought someone might want to know .. so thought i would post it here .. Happy Cheating

Not to knock your method, but using ffgriever's patch for Codebreaker it can launch HDL or ESR directly.

THis if for ppl that have/Use Say the Actual CD .. i my self have the actual V10. i was actualy thinking on the same thing with the patch. but in other means nice to know that there is a Patched CB using the ESR

Will this work with Action Replay + ESR or Xploder + ESR or Gameshark + ESR?

Say i put in DVD-V patched Action Replay and then select a game and after that, hit start and boot into ESR?

U should be able to do this with all cheat divices .. u would have to test this with yours .
all u do is Eject the Armax or what ever it is that u have in the Drive when the screen goes black this will force the Memcard Browser screen to try and kickin .. Meaning if u have the FMCB/RSR thing it will boot to that instead of the Memcard Browser screen alowing u to boot the burnt game u have .

No. Gameshark 2s were CDs.

As long as you patch the DVD Image with ESR Patcher the above link will work..

However its no diff. then using Action Replay or Code Breaker disks..

Just make sure you patch your disk (with ESR patcher) and boot it with the ESR.elf

All will work fine..

cdgen takes less than a 2 secs to generate the file, then iml2iso errors out saying that the iml is not a dvd iml... stuck there... Patchinmg the image gives me a red screen after esr screen but boots perfectly on my friend's chipped ps2...
