Cannot boot FFXII International with ffgriever patch 0.22

Hi Everyone,

Nice to meet you all, first post so if I get anything wrong feel free to correct me And I hope I posted in the correct forum as this is using PCSX2, not an actual PS2 (though I do still have it sitting in a cuboard with a swamp magic)

I attempted to patch the iso following the instructions in the readme, renaming both iso's in the correct manner, making sure I have some disk space (50gig left... lol) but the game does not boot past the playstation 2 screen, but I see other people online have used this to play the game patched with no issue.
I even attempted to re-download the patch from ffgrievers post incase the one I had was a dud, I also tested both the JAP and NTSC iso's of the game in case one of those was the issue but they both worked fine.

Also in case this is not common I noticed the patched ISO is only 769MB, far smaller then the other 2 which are as expected closer to 4gig, is this to be expected?


Any ideas anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

instead of make new thread and if you read the main thread posts 1198 to 1201 its known problem with some computers

Ah thank you, I did do a search but didnt have much luck, and after scanning pages of the main thread, it being so big I partly gave up ^^
