For those who missed it in the news earlier some posted posted

"geohot to turn over computers"

Or something along those lines and it was moderated to

"ps3 hacker to turn over computers"

Later whole thread was deleted


and I was reading a post I believe by ben jeremy who referred to geohot as the "the hacker who must not be named"

so I made a post asking why his name is being edited out on this site and it got deleted.

I expect this thread will be deleted to but I would like to know whats going on.. I see no harm in us asking??

old or new news doesnt matter to much and I think it was differnt from the tro which did not order him to turn over all computer equipment

the point is, Is the name " geohot" was deleted and replaced with the words ps3 hacker like his name is not suppose to be said on the site or something

if you've read the court documents you would know that him "turning over" his computers was the biggest part of the TRO

and no i havent seen anyone "censoring" the word "geohot".

you must be some sort of conspiracy theorist.

Mate, that "news" is old. As it has been reported and posted on this forrum/website, hence it was deleted as it was an irrelevent thread.

Personally, I think Team fail0verflow should lead the effort, since they taunted Sony with the whole "Epic Fail" and "we pwn you" garbage at the CCC Conference. They should back up their words with action.

Graf_chokolo and a hacker who must not be named would probably need to be involved, as well, as they may possess the keys needed.

The news being old or not was not the point the name edit that severed no purpose is the point
