I wrote a posting for like 15minutes and the stupid boards tells me i cant post it because there are LINKS IN IT? I need more POSTINGS???
First of all, what is that for a stupid rule??

But more important, i DIDNT post any links. HOW can the board tell me i cant post links when i dont HAVE links in it???

Well, for one, don't expect this thread to stay up for very long. The fact that you started cussing everyone in the title of the thread will probably be it's downfall.
The new rule on posting links I believe was put in place to keep "bots" from other sites coming on here and spamming the threads with links to junk sites or virus layden areas.
Possibly also to see who was here to stay and who was just passing through.
If you said you weren't trying to post a link, and yes I believe you on that one, it might just be your internet browser. I've found on IE that I have to refresh the page quite often just to see what's going on around here.
Links that can help people are availible after 10 posts I do believe in case you do have some you'd like to post eventually.
I also would recommend turning on your PM's that way if you have help you can message back and forth between users and not try to draw so much attention to how much you seem to hate this site.
As far as what's wrong with the community, absolutely nothing. You should try to get an answer elsewhere and see how nice we are compared to them

To save yourself from getting an infraction or being banned here, I would suggest toning down the language and asking your questions in a more polite way.

You opened a thread & posted here (it don't look like a problem posting to me) maybe try less punctuation or symbols until the 10/10 rule is met (yes only 10 posts in 10 days) and yes the rule was put into effect to stop spammers

I moved this post to the correct section where it should have been presented from the get go.

Obviously, this guy has a rude way of expressing himself. Not the kind that we tend to pay attention to.

At least on my account, I would have moved this topic to the kitty litter, until this guy gets the "hint" that he can make a complaint without resorting to foul language or in a state of manner like it was the "end of the world". Be respectful and you will get a respectful answer from us.

But then again, I don't suffer fools gladly, so in a way I am happy that I am not a moderator. Or else this guy would end up being in a padded room with a strait-jacket for the rest of his miserable life.

I hope you get my "hint" of my constructive criticism. But I doubt he will understand it, and might just end up flaming me for what I have I just put into print. If he does, you know he is not the brightest firefly--so where is my bug repellent?

If you received that message about not being able to post links it is bec the system is reading something within your post as a link. If you put an extra space between any "." or @ symbols it will resolve the issue. This rule was put in place to stop spammers as the other guys mentioned. Once you reach 10 posts it one be an issue any more.
