I was sure to hate it ( I hate site layout updates) but this one is eyegarsmic.
It's also a lot easier to reply to threads instead being taken to another page unless you click Quick Reply. Javascript=easier life

just my 2 cents but i think it looks like garbage.....
I miss the recent threads at the bottom (or somewhere on the page), and the white background is blinding me. Should tone down the whiteness to an off-white or grayscale
Yeah, the recent threads would be nice and darken it a bit

looks like PS3News, it is also the reason I don't go to that site to often anymore

Give it some time, the style wil change maybe, and that wil take time.
Its good for the forum to be updated because of security issues when running old script (look at sony servers) but also much more options for members/staff.
Nice job guys! Looks marvelous!
I always felt that the old layout was outdated. They now upgraded to the newest software, yes, there will be a few add-ons missed, but I am positive they will add them later. You see, when you get a forum software, you get what they call the basic, and then you must later add "features" to customize your site with your preference--this of course takes some time, but I doubt it will be an issue to later implement.
On the other hand, we should judge a site for it's content and not for it's look. I feel that a site could look awesome, but if it doesn't have good content, it will still suffer in keeping members interested. The opposite can also be the same, it could look horrid, but if the content is good, they'll be lining up to get in.
Your thoughts?
