There was one on wiinewz for a while, but it also depends if there's the right person on at the time and actually using it for help questions. and it can take away from the forums as people just want a quick answer and it benefits no one as it will disappear when the buffer dumps.

how many users who know thier stuff do you see on those kind of things regularly at different sites, and actually keep at it? not many if any really. And it becomes a breeding ground for spam quick.

ive known from previos sites i use to own i started of with 10 members with no chatbox then a week later still ten members then i put in a chat box then more people started to sign up as they can use it for small talk and it mainly makes the forum look more proffessional ....

any ways i would reccommend Inferno Shoutbox for this site then the cyb one

Shoutboxes suck. No self respecting scene site has one. Most scene sites setup an IRC channel. CMGSCCC used to have one. The site I help admin (CMP) has one. GSHI has one. Kodewerx has one.

A shout box is just stupid, and it would be a total confusion maker.

A 1000 CHIEFS AN NO INDIANS..... Everyone trying to put in there point, on the same question @ the same time. And it would be a waist of time, and a total MESS......DJ

we have one here. granted it's still under the old name #ps2-scene

and I agree. shoutboxes are useless. might as well call them spamboxes.
