My thoughts on PSX-Scene
My thoughts on PSX-Scene –
I've read a lot of hate around here the past couple days, and it's sad. We need to remember that this site is what it is because of the the community. The new ownership did not come in and start banning accounts, the layout of the site did not change, and the wealth of information that was created here has not been deleted. At this point, if anything runs this site into the ground, it will be all the negativity.
I, for one, appreciate that someone was able to come in to keep the site running. Those that remember Tehskeen know that the end result was the complete loss of about 5 years worth of information into the digital abyss.
Just keep an open mind, and keep QJ's PSP scene in mind. They have a lot of talented devs over there, and I would say it's one of the most active PSP scenes around.
To the new and old mods here, I hope things stay business as usual and we can continue to call this one of the best PS3 communities to be a part of.
Thank you for sharing. And besides, they just asked me to be a mod, and now we have one of our own in there
There goes our advertising we paid to XiaNaiX up until the end of 2011.
Have you contacted the new admins, if not, please let me know and I will try and get them to contact you

I have only seen positive increase here. I'm pretty sure we can get those 5 years worth of info back, seeing as though a lot of people like keeping backups. Just the question is, will they deliver. I see this scene continually growing and the PS3 scene isn't dead, but what I've noticed in comparison with the PSP scene, since handhelds are low costs in comparison to home consoles, devs could test on those and if they get a brick, they'd have a new system within the week. That being said, I think when the Vita comes out and devs start hitting it, this site will explode, if the DMCA backs us up like the iPhone and PSP. Gary once said this site gets over 1000 views a day, but i think it can get well over that if the vita scene can explode like the psp scene.
I can't say that I know of a site that has so much support from their users (accurate support) for more systems then PSX-Scene.
Don't Feed The Trolls Past Midnight
No, we have not. As far as I knew, they are trying to keep it ad free now so I e-mailed XiaNaiX about it and what he plans on doing (reimbursing me?) however no response...
