my account says not registered...

I have tried activating it three times in the two different ways mention in the email but when people click on my name it says that I have not registered...

am I doing something wrong?

It's almost certainly because of the backslash in your account name being interpreted wrongly by a vB/vBSEO script. Depending on which script has the issue, it might be a better idea for an Admin to just change your name to work around the problem.

I looked at your profile thru the Moderator CP and it shows you are Registered. If you werent , you would not be able to post. I would have to agree its the slash in your name thats causing the problem with VBs scripting and only an Admin can fix it. Just PM garyopa or wait til he see this thread.

Yeah it seems to be a bug in the vbseo URL handling due to the "\" in your name, I suggest changing it to like an "underscore" _ for now!
