Scanned my PC with the suggested MWB program and it only detected a Wii file as being corrupt. However, scanned with Avast and had about 5 Malwares. Still funny how it only redirects when I am on Psx Scene though. No other sites will it happen. Still thinking someone uploaded something and it was something I got and there you go.
I didnt do it!!!
But if I did, I was justified!!!

I had one more report of this problem via another user on my MSN account this morning.
If anyone has this happen, can they quickly hit the "PRINT SCREEN" button, and PM my the "screenshot", I would really like to track down the ROGUE ad or ROGUE user with a "bad SIG".
I still have not personally see it, nor any of the mods here, but I do believe that there is a problem, as I gotten now THREE different reports from users, and two of them I trust know what they are talking about.
But without the "name of the rogue ad", or "screenshot of the problematic URL" it is difficult to track down the source of the problem, as NOT everyone sees the same ads, or views the same threads.
I have already banned ONE USER, that had figured out how to inject SCRIPT html code into his POSTs using a rogue BBCODE and exploit on Vbulletin, and PATCH that hole, and removed all his posts, but there sadly is always new ways to do damage, and these types of people have no real life really.
Thanks for your feedback, and lets kill this very RARE problem once and for all!
Just wanted to chime in on the BS av scan site. I see it too from time to time and have blocked at least 3-4 domains from it so far...protectionsoftonline.com, protectionxpwinonline.com & webscanwinantivirus.com are the ones I remember off the top of my head because they were most recent...say within the past month or so.
Like the others, I have real av software which I keep up to date, and I scan regularly...hijackthis, autoruns, etc don't show anything funny going on, so doubt it's on my end. Also, this is the only site where it happens.
At any rate, hope you get to the bottom of it as it saves me continually blocking the million domains they apparently bought lol!

Sounds like it's a script in someones signature doing it, give an example of a page that causes it.

you cant have scripts in your signature, vbulletin makes sure of that.

There are ways of abusing BB Code to call a malicious script from a 3rd party site. Some user that recently joined has been doing this, but we haven't been able to figure out who it is yet. If it comes up again, please keep track of what page you were on and link it back here. A screenshot would help also.
It is likely due to the advertising partners, one or more of the 3,658 that surround every page on this site could be dodgy
It's definitely from the advertisements. It just happened to me in this forum on another thread. When I closed the windows and went back to the same page all was fine. It also happens to me from time to time on psp-hacks.com. Next time it happens I'll get the URL for the ad.
