I highly doubt it is the site. Been on here for several months without a problem. Chances are you have some spyware on your computer that is causing pop-up advertising. Go download Malwarebytes Anti-malware from Malwarebytes update it and run it. Guaranteed you will find some infections.

Im here daily and even serval times a day, but never had any such 'popups', so perhaps before thinking its our site, maybe check that you havent picked up a Browser Hijacker from somewhere that targets specific sites.
My daughter had a similar issue of popups , but after going thru her PC, i found it was from a Browser Toolbar she installed without even knowing she did. She downloaded and installed some program that had the Toolbar embedded into the Installation package and it never offered her an option to include it as part of the install, it just installed with the program she wanted to use.

After checking your pc and finally nothing which I doubt aside likely it is on your pc, see if the problem still has problems see if it only happens in a certain thread and if so paste the link it dies happen here or to me in a pm and I look into more!
For some reason, I keep getting redirected once in a while to BS Antivirus pages. I will try to select a topic and I will be redirected to some site saying my PC is invected and saying it is scanning my System (which is BS becouse a normal scan takes a lot longer then that scam).
Also, there are Advertisments on this site that show up either in the Emulator section(mainly where I go) and it comes up at night. One is a Ad talking about Russian women liking western men, and also some ad looking like Facebook but it is some women on the ad one of them in her Bra and Panties. I dont have any use for that crap and also it is very easy for underage kids able to sign up on this site and it is easy for just to sign up on those sites. I understand this site needs donations from other sites for Ad space, but at least there should be decent Ads. I traced the ads to these sites:
datebookpage
and some marriage site (if I am not mistaken, that kind of marriage is illigal)

Those ads sound like a browser hijack. Download Malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org and install, update, and scan your computer. My guess is you've picked up a nasty. If that doesn't fix it, get combofix from bleepingcomputer.net and scan your computer in safe mode with it. Once it's done, scan your computer again with Malwarebytes to get rid of any residue.
I suggest doing the above also malwarebytes is the best for getting right of any redirects that could be caused by your PC browser
As for those Russian ads they are totally random and from adbrite and not related to this site but grabbed based on cookies or your search patterns I suggest emptying your browser cache totally using a program like ccleaner!
You can also visit the link at the bottom called privacy policy and use the opt-out button for both Adsense and adbrite to remove those ads totally from appearing!
The best is to do what Chesh suggests as something in your pc is causing those redirects and cookies stored can caused weird ads to appear which we have really no control over!
If you still have problems please take a screenshot or URL of the thread you are in and I will look into the matter as their could be a very rare chance it is a certain user with an illegal HTML markup in his sig if that is the case that user will be given the Banhammer
OK, will try the suggested. It is just wierd becouse the redirects ONLY happen once in a while and ONLY happen on this site. I keep my AV updated and run a BootUp Scan now and again at random (PC Boots, gets to Windows Vista screen then starts scanning to find anything that runs at boot up and scans everything).
As for the ads, I dont go to any of those sites becouse I have no use for them. Sorry I have someone who I wouldnt trade for anyone. LOL. So must be someone on this site that is making the ads come up. Again, ads are either on the right side with the other ads (P3HUB.com and all other ads. Usually at bottom as last ad or below first post or at direct bottom ad.). Thank you for suggestions. Will implement.

Just wanted to say i also experience the random redirect to the antivirus website when clicking to view the next page of a thread. Doesn't matter if I'm using the home or work PC.
Haven't ever seen it happen anywhere else except here and its rare (maybe 1 in 30 clicks?) so I never paid too much mind to it until now.
Gary: I've seen it happen several times in that recent 3000 post thread and once or twice in the "bluray drive remarry" thread.
I get the fake virus page once in a while too. I get it at home and at work. I've scanned my computers with malwarebytes, and avg antivirus and they both come up clean.
I dont think its related to a specific thread, because once i close my browser down in can go back to the same thread and it will be fine.
wow i have the exact reverse time of ps3repairshop's post.
