How Do You Edit Thread Titles

I have been in a hurry time to time around here while making threads..

With that said I have noticed that I have some spelling errors on the Threads Tittle..

How can I go about editing the wording of the thread tittle..

NOTE:
I know you can edit the tittle with in a thread with the edit button..
However with in the edit post in advanced edit I have yet to see a place to edit the Threads Tittle (can only edit the tittle inside the thread and not the header of the thread)

Any replies would be greatly useful on my end..
Plus now is a good time to give me some Noob bashing if need be, lol

Im not sure why the title doesnt change for the average user when they change a title to a thread they made in the main forums listings, but any Moderator can change the title and it will also change in the forum listings too.

In the Advance Edit, the thread starter can edit the Title of the thread, if thats what you meant, so you should be able to edit it yourself. Look at the top of the edit window in the advance edit, just under where it says 'Reason for editing' and right above the edit box.

It should change the thread to what ever you edit, but it might still remain the original title when viewed from the forum listings.

I'll look into the admn control panel and see if it will allow me to set it to where users can change their own thread titles.

Nope~No joy;
You can edit the tittle with in the thread however you are not able to edit the header of the tittle (The tittle that is seen on the forums ~ The tittle inside the thread can be edited though ((Also known as the SUB-TITTLE)))

I just wanted to edit the tittle that is seen on the forums as this can not be edited by the normal user (only admins can edit this)

That would help out greatly as I have seen many Thread Tittles (Header's that is) that have had many miss spelled words as well as many do not make sense & users wanted to edit them but could not..

Plus I know we could do this on the old forums before the server had crashed a while back..
So that could be why no one had brought this up until now..

Thanx again guys for looking into this..
I know many other forums you can change the main tittle header..

If I know the code for it I would post it here so an admin could edit the .main.html file from the server in regards to post editing..

Just for that I received a PM from amp2006 stating my link was fixed..

So I bitched at him saying it wasn't (I stated it politely though)..
Amp had stated that you had edited my post with the needed changes..

Thank you to the mod that changed my post that was giving..

However has the issue been resolved on where we can now edit our tittles on our threads?.
Just wanted an update as nothing else has been said here about the main issue that was had..
