Here's a Bright Idea

Have a way to contact an administrator when a moderator randomly bans your account for no reason FOREVER. I get no reply from the Contact Site Administrator button, and all the forum sections are marked "PRIVATE". Trying to do anything results in "YOU CANNOT ACCESS THIS". I end up having to make a new account and when I try to send a private message to any of the site administrators, I get "YOU CANNOT SEND PRIVATE MESSAGES". Absolutely ridiculous. No way to know who banned me or contact them/anyone in any way to resolve the situation.

Was your ordinal without the x dark3mpir3X if so someone thought you were a spammer do not know why but that is dark3mpir3 got ban reson

Yeah that's his account. You can always check the IP address. Anyway @dark3mpir3 - you were banned for spamming or trolling. I can't see the original posts so I don't know exactly what you had posted to earn your ban.

I'm not really sure what you're looking for from us. Mistakes do happen and can be corrected. Second chances are not given out on whims so what do you want to do?

I think I remember what happened He posted like 30 post in like 15 min got warned and did not listen so got banned

I did not make multiple topics or posts. I made 1 post in the GTA IV section asking for help regarding mod security and was permanently banned. I've read the forum rules and didn't see any reason for the post to be considered spam. I don't have any clue who issued the ban either, but it was a mistake. It was just frustrating to me how much I had to go through to figure out how to let someone know of the mistake. I got help anyway from a different website regarding my question (They didn't ban me for it). It would be nice if you could unban my "dark3mpir3" account so I don't have to set my forum settings again. Thanks for the help.

I don't know what happened but for the time being I'll take you at your word and I'll go ahead and lift the ban. If I find out down the road that you're not being honest with me or you just want your account back to start trouble then the ban will be restored and your IP address banned as well. Trust me - I will be contacting the person that made the ban

I however do agree with the OP that there needs to be a better appeals system in p[lace. I was banned by a mod and ban lifted awhile back and couldn't get in contact at all on the site.

yeah, I remember yours. We had a mod that was having a personal meltdown and he's no longer around because of it. The one that did the OP has good judgement, but might have just mistaken his post for spam since he was talking about security. It probably did look like a spambot.

You're probably right there should at least be a one time review request available when somebody's banned. There's enough of us around that a second pair of eyes on something doesn't huirt
